Milanchari is one of the tourist attractions located just three kilometers south east of Bandarban.  This place is later on the way to Shailprapat or Chimbuk.  In this place you can enjoy the charm of the mountains.standing  high up on the hill by the roadside, one can see the endless green play at the eastern end and the charming river Sangu, which winds its way through the lush greenery.



How to get there -

Several transport companies leave for Bandarban every day from different parts of Dhaka.  For example, you can go to Bandarban by boarding any bus of Hanif, Shyamoli, Unique, S Alam, Dolphin.  These buses leave for Bandarban from Kalabagan, Syedabad or Fakirapool at 10 pm or around 11:30 pm.  Non AC bus fare is Tk 550 per person.  AC 950 Tk.


You can go to Bandarban from Chittagong.  Pubali and Purbani Paribahan buses ply from Baddarhat to Bandarban.  These buses charge a fare of 220 taka per person.



Milanchari can be reached from Bandarban city by hiring a taxi, moon car or private car or jeep.  It will cost 600-700 taka by jeep from the city and 450-500 taka by moon car.  When you go to Shailprapat or Chimbuk or Nilgiri, there will be milanchardi on the way.  So you can park the rented car on the side of the road.
