Baldha Garden BD Wari Dhaka Baldha Garden is a botanical garden located in Wari area of Dhaka city which is located in Wari of old Dhaka. Its area is 3.38 acres. Around 1909 Narendra Narayan Roy Chowdhury, the zamindar of Baldhar in Dhaka district (now Gazipur district) brought various flowers and rare plants from different countries of the world and planted them in this garden. The main attraction of Baldha Garden is several Shapla houses filled with red, blue, white, yellow varieties of Shapla. Besides, rare species of indigenous and foreign orchids, cactus, anthurium, Bhujjapatra, camellia, Bakul, Ashok, African tulips, Amazon lily and other species of plants.
