  Choto Sona Mosque BD Chapainawabganj       There are various historical monuments scattered all over the western districts of the country.  Among the traditional structures of Chapainawabganj, this small gold mosque has an ancient history.  Sultanate and Mughal rulers ruled the region from the mid-15th century to the end of the 16th century.  It is believed that this mosque was built during the Sultanate period. One of the oldest mosques in Bangladesh.  The structure was built in Pirojpur village on the outskirts of Gaur city, the capital of ancient Bengal, which now falls under Shibganj police station in Chapainawabganj district of Rajshahi division of Bangladesh.  A person named Wali Mohammad built this mosque during the reign of Sultan Alauddin Hussain Shah (1494-1519 AD).
