Chapainawabganj is the city of mangoes, the king of fruits and the great beauty of the Mahananda river.  A district rich in historical monuments and artefacts.  As the capital of Gaur, the capital of ancient Bengal, Shibganj upazila has various historical buildings.  The dighi excavated by the last kings of the Sen dynasty during the Hindu rule and the mosque built by the Muslim Sultans during the Sultanate period are the main historical structures of this upazila.  Moreover, some structures of local landlords can be seen in Shibganj during the British period.

Chapainawabganj has some historical and sightseeing places, among them Shaarburuj or Naoda Buruj, historical Ali Shahpur Mosque, Babu Dying, Darsbari Mosque, Shah Niamat Ullah (RA), Mausoleum of Bir Shrestha Captain Mohiuddin Jahangir, Three Domed Mosque, Tahkhana Complex, Chhota  Sonamsjid, Channika Mosque, Kotwali Door, Khaniadighi Mosque, Kansat Mango Bazaar, Alpana Village Tikhil, Nachol Rajbari, Swapnapalli, Dhaniachak Mosque, Shurula's Tamarind Tree, Tanghan Picnic Park, Kansat Zamindar Bari, Mahananda River, Second Mahananda Bridge and Nilkuthi are notable.

1. Bull tower or Naoda tower:

Located in Rahanpur of Gomastapur Upazila.Rahanpur is located on the roadside near Janata High School, directly north of Barabazar.  Gomstapur upazila/Rahanpur can be reached by rickshaw/van or on foot.

2.Historic Ali Shahpur Mosque:

It is located in Alishahpur village of Ward No. 2 of Fatepur Yuin of Nachol Upazila of Chapainawabganj.  Nachol is located in a remote area about 10 km west of the upazila headquarters.  You can go by motorcycle, Nasimon, Mishu.

3. Kotwali Door:

About 35 km from Chapainawabganj.  Can go by bus or CNG.  Approximately 45 m.  It takes 1 hour from.

4. Babu Dying:

Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila, Jhelim Union. Its distance from Chapainawabganj district headquarters is only 10 km.  As there is a paved road, you can go from here by Riska, Auto Riska, Car-Micro, Bus, Reserve.  You can also go by motor bike.

A small village in Nachol Upazila of Chapainawabganj is named Tikiil. Every wall is like a canvas and people are artists, And that is why it is known as Alpana Village.

14.Kanshat mango bazar :

To get the real fun of Ambagan, you have to go to Kansat Bazar in Shibganj Upazila, 23 km away from Chapainawabganj district headquarters. Due to its location on Sona Masjid Sthalbandar road, this area has a high traffic of traders.  Kansat's mango market is the second largest market in Asia.
