A haor located in Sunamganj district of Greater Sylhet, Bangladesh.  Spread over an area of ​​about 100 square kilometers, Haor is the second largest freshwater wetland in Bangladesh.  Haor is also known as Naikuri Kandaar Chaikkuri Bill to the locals. It is known as the second Ramsar site in the country, the first being the Sundarbans.

How to go?

First you have to reach Sunamganj district town.  Take a rickshaw from Sunamganj bus stand to Sahebbazar Ghat.  During the rainy season, you can go directly to Tangua by engine boat or speed boat from Saheb Bari Boat Wharf in the city.  Engine boat will cost Rs 2500-3000 for 5 hours and speed boat will cost Rs 7500-8000 for 2 hours.

If you rent a boat for overnight stay, make the necessary purchases.  In that case, a local trawler or an engine driven boat will cost around 5000 rupees.  And the luxurious engine powered boats have many facilities including bathroom with high commode, tarpaulin on the roof and the rent will be like 10000-16000 Tk.
