Bilai Bill is located in Kanaiya area of ​​Joydevpur in Gazipur district of Bangladesh. Belai Bill is unique in appearance among the bills of developed land near Dhaka.



Scattered all around.  The colorful crafts on the blue sky of the river, the shadow of that sky on the water of the bill and after a while the wind all together create a mysterious atmosphere.


A beautiful combination of river and bill, silence all around, light pulsation of water and sound of chirping insects.  Which is a great place to visit for a day.


In some parts of this huge bill, there is water almost throughout the year, but its shape increases to a large extent during the monsoons.  During the monsoon season, fishermen dig dugouts around the bill.  Fish is caught here.  And during the dry season, the bill becomes mono-crop land.  Boro rice cultivation was then done.  At present the area of ​​the bill covers an area of ​​eight square miles, but formerly it was larger.

There is nothing to eat in Kanaya Bazar except tea and biscuits.  So if you want to travel for a long time, take food with you.



In autumn, one can enjoy its beauty by standing on the new bridge built near Kanaya Bazar.  Bill is full of beggars.  White and blue flowers scattered.  The scene of women threshing crops will also be seen.  The water in the chest is clear and wobbly.  The soil of the village here is red.  Gourd grows very well in red soil.  And there are rows of palm trees which look very beautiful from the boat.

Both motorized and dinghy boats are available.  But a silent canoe is better than the sound of an engine.


How to go:

Gazipur bus stand by bus from Gulistan.  From there by rickshaw or tempo to Kanaia Bazar.  Rows of boats are tied at Kanaya Bazar Ghat.  Bargain and read up.  If you want, you can go to the party in your own vehicle.  Rainy season is the best time to visit.  It will save time to go to Kanaia via Tongi-Pubile in own car.

If you want to rent a boat, if it is a small boat, it will take 500-600 taka for the whole day.  And the big boat is 2,000 rupees.  You can stay on the boat at night.  If you want to stay at night, you have to inform the market committee.
